Love In Action

This ministry reflects the deaconess covenant to engage in ministries of love, justice, and service. It affirms the sacred worth of every person and the belief that education and family stability are essential expressions of God’s grace in community life.

Our vision is to nurture hope and transformation through faithful advocacy and compassionate service—empowering children, families, and communities to flourish in the love of Christ both locally and globally.

Local

Advocacy for NC Public Schools

Collaborating with faith-based and civic organizations to promote fair funding and equitable access to quality education.
Engaging congregations in public witness for teachers, students, and school staff.
Organizing educational forums and prayer vigils to raise awareness of systemic challenges facing public schools.
Supporting initiatives that address child poverty, food insecurity, and mental health within school communities.

Global

Mission with Families in Estonia, Lithuania, and Ukraine

Providing humanitarian aid such as food, clothing, hygiene and medical supplies.
Supporting programs for children and youth, including after-school care, tutoring, and spiritual formation.
Strengthening local church ministries that serve refugees and vulnerable families.
Encouraging cross-cultural relationships through prayer partnerships, mission visits, and shared worship experiences.
